2. General

This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics or tracking services, no advertising networks, no social media plugins, no embedded maps or videos and no external web fonts. The fonts are delivered with the site itself; nothing is loaded from a third-party server when you open a page. No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.

3. Visiting the website and server log files

When you open this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and URL of the file retrieved
• amount of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
• browser type and version as well as the operating system
• the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

This data is required to deliver the site, to ensure the stability and security of the server and to fend off attacks.

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless and secure operation of the website.

Retention period: Log data is deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless it is exceptionally needed for longer to investigate a specific security incident.

The hosting provider processes the data listed under section 3 exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

5. Contact form and getting in touch

You can send us an enquiry using the contact form. In doing so we process the details you enter into the form: name, email address, phone number (voluntary) and the content of your message. The form collects nothing else. Name, email address and message are required; without them we cannot answer your enquiry.

Protection against automated submissions: The form contains a field that is invisible to you and is only filled in by automated programs, and it measures the time between the page being built and the form being sent. Both serve solely to detect machine-generated submissions; your behaviour is not evaluated and nothing is stored on your device.

Delivery service provider: For the technical delivery of the form message to our mailbox we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Resend processes the form data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR together with supplementary safeguards.

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Retention period: We keep your enquiry until it has been dealt with and no further questions are to be expected. If the enquiry leads to an order, the commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively under section 257 HGB and section 147 AO apply. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after six months at the latest.

If you write us an email or call us instead, we process the resulting data for the same purpose and according to the same periods.

6. Disclosure of data

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to the processors named in this policy or where we are legally obliged to do so. Data is not sold.

7. Your rights
